1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, age, weight, biological sex, training preferences) and data from connected third-party services you authorize, including Strava and WHOOP. From Strava we collect activity history including workouts, heart rate, and performance data. From WHOOP we collect recovery scores, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep performance, and workout strain data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to generate personalized endurance training plans and to improve the quality of those plans. Your data is used to provide coaching recommendations through AI-generated training plans. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us.

4. Third-Party Integrations

benda3 integrates with Strava and WHOOP via their official OAuth APIs. We only request the minimum data required to generate your training plan. You may revoke access to these integrations at any time through the respective service settings or through the benda3 Connections settings page.

5. Health Data

benda3 uses fitness and biometric data (heart rate, HRV, sleep, recovery scores) to personalize training recommendations. This data is not shared with any third party outside of the services required to operate the app (Supabase for storage, Anthropic for AI plan generation). benda3 is not a medical service. Training recommendations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice.

6. AI-Generated Content

Training plans are generated using Anthropic Claude AI. Your fitness data is sent to Anthropic API to generate your plan. Anthropic processes this data according to their privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy. Data sent to the API is not used to train AI models.

7. Children

benda3 is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below. You may also disconnect any third-party integrations through the app settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
